The Everex Cloudbook, initially scheduled for release January 25, hit a little snag and the release had to be pushed of a bit for some last minute software tweaks.
At the time no new release date was given so, of course, people began to speculate what could be wrong and some guessed it might be a few months before the Cloudbook hits retail.
Fear not, Cloudbook fans, the Everex website has been updated and now shows that the Cloudbook will be available at Walmart.com and ZaReason.com on February 15, 2008 for the same price as expected–$399.
UPDATE: Now the Everex website says it will be available from Walmart.com on January 25, so maybe the February 15th date was a mistake? Not sure, but I’ll update this post when I have more info…
UPDATE 2: Looks like the release date is February 15th. Everex has also released a promotional video for the Cloudbook.
